Bindery Technician jobs in Alabama
Bindery Technician performs various machine and manual operations to complete print binding and finishing processes. Completes tasks including measuring, cutting, collating, inserting, folding, stapling, or gluing to produce finished bound products. Being a Bindery Technician sets up, operates, tends, and maintains bindery equipment. Inspects equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoots and resolves problems. Additionally, Bindery Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bindery Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities :
The Service Technician is responsible for customer coordination in the field and repair of all systems and customer training.
They shall work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to help schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment and materials are correct and onsite when needed.
Qualifications :
- 5 years minimum of demonstrated work history / knowledge as a service technician is required. NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred, but not required.
- Understanding NEC and NFPA current requirements is essential.
- Experienced in troubleshooting panels, devices, and program various systems including, but not limited to, Edwards Fire Alarm Systems, Lenel, Open Options, DSX, Milestone, Salient, and DMP to name a few.
They shall perform onsite review of previous repairs and quality control.
