Bindery Technician jobs in Sun Valley, NV

Bindery Technician performs various machine and manual operations to complete print binding and finishing processes. Completes tasks including measuring, cutting, collating, inserting, folding, stapling, or gluing to produce finished bound products. Being a Bindery Technician sets up, operates, tends, and maintains bindery equipment. Inspects equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoots and resolves problems. Additionally, Bindery Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bindery Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     • Ability to work with stamping, trimming, pressing, and binding machines.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous related experience preferred.
    • On-the-job training provided.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods of standing during machine operation and working in a loud environment.
    • Must be physically able to operate and repair the machine, which may involve bending, squatting, and crawling.
