SUMMARY:
The Bingo Operations Assistant will fill in where necessary. This may range from Paymaster/Vault teller, Inventory Control Clerk, Point-Of-Sale, floor sales and/or beverage server.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain knowledge of Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel bingo promotions, games, papers, patterns, electronic devices, and pack set-up in order to provide assistance to customers as needed.
- Immediately notify immediate Supervisor and Manager on Duty (MOD) of any concerns customers may have and in the event of any customer complaints direct the manager to the customer to help achieve positive resolution.
- Maintain, clean equipment and ensure inventory is in designated locations at all times.
- Receive and return Bingo vault bank from Money Room according to company policies and regulations.
- Maintain security of all banks according to department policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining cash bank accurately and keeping bank balanced.
- Responsible for obtaining cash bank from authorized staff when needed.
- Ensure all Bingo banks are issued and returned and accounted for in the appropriate computer program.
- Record, investigate, and resolve any variances.
- Accurately Count all paper prior to start of day.
- Prepare Bingo paper for admission clerks and floor clerks.
- Return paper for clerks as they come down, count and verify all paper as it’s returned.
- Maintain admission and floor clerks with extra paper as needed.
- Ensure required paper work and reports are accurate, verified, and submitted to the Bingo Supervisor.
- Prepare a balance report for admission and floor clerks at the end of shift.
- Issue Bingo payouts utilizing the appropriate application.
- Complete W2Gs correctly using the current Bingo application.
- Review NSF checklist to ensure proper deductions from bingo payouts as necessary.
- Distribute promotional items to customers.
- Accurately maintain all necessary reports.
- Follow procedures to ensure security of bingo paymaster bank.
- Report to supervisor any variances that occurred during the session.
- Assist new and returning bingo players with purchases and setup prior to bingo session.
- Answer incoming phone calls and relay information to customers or bingo team members.
- Responsible for assisting other employees as needed.
- Anticipates and meets customers and employee’s needs.
- Perform general filing and clerical duties for the bingo department.
- Maintain a clean and neat uniform and be well groomed.
- Attend all department and team meetings as assigned.
- Maintain a positive and productive attitude with fellow employees, managers, and guests.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous customer service and cashier experience required.
Skills/Knowledge:
