Biochemist evaluates the physical properties of various living organisms in order to investigate their applications to medicine and other industries. Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Biochemist has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Biochemist works under immediate supervision.   • Job Description:
    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products. Some data interpretation required.
    • Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application.
    • Should have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.
    • Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).
    • Should exhibit good problem solving skills. Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.

    Education:

    • Bachelor degree and 3 years experience with HPLC
    • Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40.00 per week
