Engineering Drawings Checker

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Engineering Drawings Checker to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Review existing and new drawings and designs to verify they meet current AIST, CMAA & AISI Standards
• Review calculations to determine that the calculations match the detailed part
• Verify that designed and detailed parts match the fit, finish and dimensions complete 
• Verify assembly drawings and bill of materials are complete and accurate
• Determine if detailed design is functional and can be fabricated without difficulty

Education/Experience:

• 15 years’ experience in Mechanical Design, Weldment Design or Crane Design
• Good design and detailing skills
• Proficient in reading all types of drawings (a must)
• Extensive experience in fits, tolerances and Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Inventor a must)
• CMAA or AIST knowledge a plus
• Must be able to work well with others at work and outside of the office
