Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician III in Hershey, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for an innovative and growing medical device manufacturer. The Biomedical Equipment Technician III will play a significant role in the design and development of medical implants.
Responsibilities for the Biomedical Equipment Technician III include:
· Maintain clinical equipment in compliance with the Medical Equipment Management Plan and Joint Commission Standards.
· Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex biomedical equipment.
· Educate clinical staff on technical integration.
· Provide mentorship and training to junior and mid-level staff.
· Coordinate with IT departments and vendors for device installation and troubleshooting.
· Document all work using applicable computer programs.
Qualifications for the Biomedical Equipment Technician III include:
· Associate’s degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology, or equivalent military training.
· 4 years of related experience. Experience working in the Operating Room- a Plus
· IT certification preferred, such as networking or A .
· Mastery knowledge of complex clinical equipment and medical systems.
· Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
· Experience in using computer programs, running reports, and navigating databases.
· Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Compensation for the Biomedical Equipment Technician III include:
· $40-$45 per hour -Depending on experience
