MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

We are looking for one excellent and qualified Production Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all personnel daily workload, schedules, and maintain high-quality output from each member of the team. Direct the activities of the employees in a timely manner so that it makes the best utilization of their time and talents to ensure on-time completion of work.
• Forecast upcoming workload and ensure proper material and workforce on-hand to manage the needed output so that the team can meet and exceed timelines while maintaining high quality production.
• Submit requisitions for material and supplies as needed.
• Ensure the shop area is a neat, clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition. Notify maintenance to ensure timely repair and escalate if continues to be an obstacle for production output.
• Review traveler operational time estimates for job completion and elevate/correct any inaccuracies with the help of the Production Manager for future similar jobs.
• Manage staff including Hiring, Coaching, Mentoring & Developing of Employees.
• Manage daily and weekly management of time card reporting and approval and payroll-related changes including employee schedules and scheduling of overtime.
• Create appropriate work instructions for various department-specific procedures including but not limited to receiving inventory as well as many others.
• Keep updated on the latest technology. Make recommendations for new tooling and equipment.
• Continuously improve department operations through various projects that you lead that result in improved efficiency and higher quality output of your department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma with business school or equivalent technical training; Preferred: Business Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business or materials related field.
• Minimum of Five (5) years in machining manufacturing and supervision.
• Knowledge of/experience with SolidWorks is required
• Experience working in ERP/MRP Systems. Made2Manage experience a plus!
• Good interpersonal skills and knowledge of computers and common business software applications.
• Language: Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language. Spanish is a plus.
• Normal physical ability required. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Senses of sight and hearing correctable to normal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• CNC Machining: 5 years (Preferred)
• ERP/MRP: 2 years (Preferred)
• Supervisory: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
