Biomedical Photographer performs wide variety of photographic functions in a medical setting. Takes photographs and prepares images, slides, or prints of subjects used for archives, educational materials, legal proceedings, and scientific literature. Being a Biomedical Photographer photographs patients, operating room procedures, autopsy and laboratory specimens and other medical subjects. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Biomedical Photographer may require a technical certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biomedical Photographer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The mission of a Syndigo Photographer is to be committed to accurate and comprehensive product information that adheres to Syndigo's photography and measurement guidelines by managing a daily workload and ensure quality and consistency of images and data captured. The Syndigo Photographer will exercises independent judgment resulting in accurate and timely resolution of exceptions and is accountable for the final decision about capture of information for products on behalf of the Syndigo client, as well as oversee the population of all assigned images in the Syndigo database.
