    We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our busy South East Recovery Service. Service. Our Administration team here at Change Grow Live play an integral part in supporting the team in our mission, proving administrative and clerical support to our teams enabling them to focus on delivering our services, ensuring our service users receive the help and support they need to achieve their goals. Acting as our first point of contact our Admin team are the face of our service, speaking with our service users face to face and via the telephone, are non-judgemental, empathetic and want to make a real difference to people’s lives. 

     

    Duties for the post include dealing with initial queries, welcoming service users and professionals into the service, signposting within the service and the community. The postholder will be expected to maintain a clean office environment with thorough attention to detail and a great telephone manner. A large focus of the role is on data input to Change Grow Live’s own database system and Daisy, the national government reporting tool. Accurate input and attention to detail are critical for this role as is ensuring the data is kept up to date. The ability to extract data and provide reports on service activity and goals will also be required.

     

    The successful candidate will have experience of providing administrative support in a service-based organisation, a good knowledge of general office procedures, excellent IT and literacy skills, and the ability to accurately manage databases and spreadsheets. They will also need good interpersonal skills as team working is essential in this role.

    Salary: £23,400 - £23,685.20 per year

    Responsibilities

    About the role: 

     

    • Be the first point of contact within the service
    • Provide organisational, administrative, and clerical services to the team designed to contribute toward its aims and objectives
    • Ensure that telephone calls and visits from service users, outside agencies and CGL staff are dealt with promptly and courteously, transferring calls to appropriate personnel when necessary
    • Complete effective processing of correspondence/data entry as required.
    • Minute take at partnership and clinical meetings as required
    • Collate, monitor, and report data/information and statistics as required
    • Carry out photocopying as required
    • Ensure that all admin, record-keeping, and communication within the project are maintained

      

    About you: 

     

    • Knowledge of general office procedures
    • IT literacy including proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets and other MS applications
    • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team
    • The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary
    • Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing and solid numeric skills
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • Able to take responsibility for your own personal development, identifying personal training needs and participating in regular supervision and appraisal
    • Be flexible to work across operational sites as required
    • Minute taking experience would be an advantage
