    IT Systems Administrator- Shift Lead
     
    This is What You’ll Do:
     
     
    • Oversees and provides direction to IT Service Desk Technicians while IT Service Desk Supervisor and / or Managers are off shift.
    • Manages Windows Server systems and Active Directory and their corresponding or associated software.
    • Monitors and maintains overall network/infrastructure health and performance.
    • Performs Network and Server administration tasks that includes patching or upgrading software.
    • Maintains infrastructure to maintain virtualized environment.
    • Performs performance reporting on both Network and Windows server systems.
    • Supports integration of new businesses in both planning and field work.
    • Provides augmentation for Service desk in answering and resolving reported problems and able to resolve most IT reported infrastructure issues.
    • Provides support of Cisco networking equipment and participate in network on-call rotation as assigned.
    • Support corporate office and remote locations through various network principals including date center maintenance, active directory, GPOs, email web, backup environments, etc.
    • Supports and maintains desktops, laptops, peripherals, network switches, and software for
    • Corporate and remote users. This includes, but is not limited to: installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Provides system administration of systems, as assigned, which may include but is not limited to: Web, Email, Active Directory, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) systems, and network equipment.
    • Provides routine reporting and analysis of server information and performs root cause analysis of recurring problems.
    • Provides routine reporting and analysis of performance information.
    • Provides IT operations support, which may include: collecting and reporting performance data, outage data, review of error logs and backup logs, and other monitoring as assigned.
    • Provides support and maintains the MDM environment.
    • Assists in on-call support, and off-hour change requirements.

     

    This is What It Takes:

    •  Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field of study, or equivalent industry qualifications
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing support in a comparable environment
    • Windows Server/Active Directory installation and support.
    • Demonstrated administration of Microsoft Server 2012/2016, Windows 10
    • Storage troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of Cisco switching and routing.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory design, security, and troubleshooting.
    • Participation in the on-call support schedules for Network and/or Server.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory design, Windows Server security, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and VMware/Vmotion.
    • Ability to acquire an understanding of the needs and restrictions of a FDA, GMP environment.
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Must be able to perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative Measures.
    • Demonstrated flexibility to changing priorities.
    • Will be required to work outside of Normal Business hours, primarily in the event of an emergency or implementation of new systems/upgrades which will need to be done after hours.
    • On-call support that may involve night or weekend coverage as assigned
    • MSCE and MSCA certifications preferred
    • CCNA certification desirable.
