Mary Frances Accessories is one of the leading fashion accessories companies in the Unites States. We distribute to specialty boutiques, cruise lines, Amazon home shopping, & chain stores . We have an upbeat, and casual office atmosphere. We are looking for someone with high energy, flexible and a can-do attitude to join our team. We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper who is experienced with Sage.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. this position is about 24-32 hours per week depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry, record keeping, and maintaining financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Prepare and submit payroll information
-Breakdown of credit card expenses for the GL
-Sales reps commissions
-Prepare wires for oversees suppliers
- Send monthly customer statements
-Collection calls
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements that our Controller puts together
-Assorted other general office and customer service help
Skills:
- Proficient in 10-key typing
-Knowledge of Sage
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Previous experience as a bookkeeping clerk or similar role
- Familiarity with balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
