We currently have an immediate opening for a well-organized, experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The Bookkeeper will perform a broad range of accounting and general clerical duties.
Principle Responsibilities:
· Issue invoices to client via mail, email within specified timeframes
· Process billing invoices
· Prepare and accurately process billing adjustments into invoice system to maintain accurate records
· Account Receivable functions including collections and/or receiving, reviewing, and posting payments from clients
· Account Payable functions including setting up new clients, processing payables, generating checks, and researching any inconsistencies
· Research billing discrepancies
· Interpret contract terms as they relate to billing exceptions
· Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers via email and by phone in order to decrease escalated billing issues
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· 3 years relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred
· High school or equivalent preferred
· Punctuality, attendance, and dependability is essential in this role.
· Working computer knowledge; including applicable Microsoft software
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to accept and follow direction as provided by manager
