Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements - Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings - Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting - Generate financial reports for management review - Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors - Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies - Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits Experience: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks - Familiarity with budgeting and financial report writing - Ability to analyze financial data and perform account reconciliations - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations is preferred - Experience in public accounting is a plus If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the financial success of our organization, we encourage you to apply.
