MVCA BOOKKEEPER
SUMMARY:
The Bookkeeper at MVCA is an integral part of our administrative office team. The bookkeeper will administer all
facets of accounts payable and receivable, maintain all payment and scholarship information, and maintain accurate
records of financial transactions for the school. The bookkeeper works directly for the Head of School and will often
assist the Principals with answering questions regarding the annual budget and financial questions. The school
accountant will be available to answer questions and provide oversight throughout each school year.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
This is a part-time hourly position year-round, approximately 10 hours/week with additional hours required during the
end of fiscal year and beginning of each school year (approximately 20 to 30 hours/week during that time).

1. Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with various audiences including student families, vendors,
employees, and donors.
2. Reviews and reconciles all end of month and quarterly reports for all account statements.
3. Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested by the administration by collecting, analyzing and
