Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a crucial role in our organization, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and financial statements are prepared accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other employees to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with other related duties as needed

Qualifications:
- An Associates Degree in Accounting, or 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Solid understanding of debits and credits
- Experience with technical accounting tasks is a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
