GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month end closings.
• Reconcile all inter-company accounts.
• Effectively prepare A/R invoicing for monthly billing for over 300 accounts.
• Prepare and file sales & use, excise tax returns in multiple states.
• Assist CPA with year-end closing and tax preparation.
• Licenses and track all company vehicles.
• Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Verify billing accounts with account receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements.
• Proficient in Sage 100 Accounting software.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 
• Self-motivated, confident, friendly, and highly detailed oriented.
• Ability to work independently.
