The Bookkeeping Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     Bookkeeping Clerk responsibilities are:

    • Managing financial correspondence via email

    • Review financial and related data and report any inconsistencies

    • Support efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations

    • Review, verify and record invoices from vendors and for clients (AR & AP)

    • Manage business records, reviewing, adding and updating financial and related data in Quickbooks Online

    • Participate in account reconciliation operations

    • Interact with customers, contractors, and 3rd party vendors,

    • Prepare reports about the status of accounts and discrepancies

    Bookkeeping Clerk requirements are:

    • 3 years' experience of working on a bookkeeping or finance assistant position

    • Significant experience with basic bookkeeping procedures and financial transactions

    • Good knowledge of financial regulations in this area, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    • Good understanding of MS Office and databases

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    • Reliability and close attention to detail

    • High school diploma or GED is required

    Locations:

    We have offices in Anchorage, AK (our HQ) and Reno, NV. We would prefer to hire in Reno for this position, but we are open to remote work.

    Benefits & Wages:

    We offer flexible work hours and Flex Fridays for this part-time position. This job pays between $19-$24 per hour DOE plus benefits.
