Duties:
- Perform all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations for multiple companies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements
- Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of journal entries
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks to perform daily bookkeeping tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency using QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Ability to perform complex technical accounting tasks, such as reconciliations and financial statement analysis
- Familiarity with Construction accounting is a plus but not a requirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
