Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. directs and oversees all activities related to the operation of a university/college bookstore. Purchases new books, coordinates the sale of used books, orders new inventory as needed. Being a Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. ensures that the textbook inventory is aligned with the needs and class schedule of the students. Hires, trains, and supervises employees. Additionally, Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. prepares and manages the staff work schedule so that the store is adequately staffed. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     CHI St. Alexius is looking for a RN to join the Emergency Deptartment Team!

     

    Looking for a RN who believes in the power of #humankindess. RNs with CHI St. Alexius function as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. This individual will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.

     

    What you’ll do:

    • Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities as well as the following duties and responsibilities.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs in facilitation proper patient placement and patient care assignments.
    • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using and promoting effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs.
    • Actively role models and coaches the behaviors associated with leadership and assist others in developing their skills and knowledge.
    • Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competencies for age specific, as appropriate.

    Skills:

    • Demonstrates ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others for the overall benefit of the unit.
    • Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care.
    • Demonstrates proficiency in unit and the ability to function efficiently during crisis
    • Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required.  

     

    Work Agreement:

    • FTE Status: .9, 72 Hours Per Pay Period
    • Shift type: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights
    • Shift length: 12 hour, Vaires
    • Wage Rate: $33.35 - $52.60 /hour
    • On Call Expectations: None
    • Weekend/Holiday Frequency: Every 3rd weekend/Every 3rd Holiday
    • Job Classification: Non-Exempt

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.  

    Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state. 

    Experience: At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
