Clean Water Action is looking to hire a core team of motivated individuals with a passion for progressive social change to fill community outreach management positions.

Full and part-time positions are available. We are looking to hire candidates who are available to start immediately. This is an in-person job, and the hours are from 3pm-9pm Monday and Friday and 2pm to 9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Clean Water Action is a million-member strong non-profit organization fighting to protect our environment and public health. For over 50 years, Clean Water has successfully held our politicians accountable to pass legislation in favor of our environment.

What we work on:

• Accountability: Hold elected officials accountable to protecting the environment and public health.
• Clean Water: Protect the nation’s waterways to keep our drinking water and recreational areas pristine
• Environmental Justice: Ensure that low income communities and communities of color are not disproportionately burdened by negative environmental impacts.
• Climate Change: Promote energy efficiency and renewable energy policies and programs that will help mitigate climate change disasters, improve overall public health, and create a green working economy

Strong motivation and attention to detail are a must!

Qualified applicants will have:

- A passion for the environment and social justice issues

Responsibilities will include:

- Training and developing new activists

- Canvassing communities around the Northampton, MA area

- Motivating teams of 5 or more to be goal oriented

- Managing team logistics

- Analyzing canvass and budget performance

- Ability to set and meet goals

- Leading by example

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
