$CHZ is the native digital token for the Chiliz sports & entertainment ecosystem currently powering Socios.com and the Chiliz Chain blockchain. 

Socios.com is a fan engagement and rewards app that allows fans to engage with their favourite teams and clubs through digital assets known as Fan Tokens. 

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Lead to design, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to safeguard our organization's computing infrastructure within the blockchain industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as MiCA, and enhancing the security posture of Chiliz Chain 2, Socios.com backend, crypto reserves, and DevOps regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an organization-wide information security program tailored to the unique challenges of the blockchain industry.
• Identify vulnerabilities in our current network infrastructure and applications, including Chiliz Chain 2 and Socios.com backend, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Design and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including MiCA.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration tests to proactively identify and address security weaknesses.
• Monitor network usage and access controls to prevent unauthorized activities and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management, IT teams, and DevOps professionals to integrate security best practices into development processes and infrastructure design.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on information security awareness, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IT security standards, threats, and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary measures to address emerging risks.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an information security role, preferably within the blockchain or fintech industry.
• Solid understanding of information security frameworks, regulations, and standards.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls in a complex IT environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  
  

Good to have:

• Experience with DevOps practices and familiarity with crypto reserves management is desirable.
• Understanding of The Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA)
