Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your expertise in masonry techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.
Duties:
-Must know how to cut and lay pavers
-Must know how to layout work area to get started
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or other types of masonry units to build or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
- Mix mortar or grout according to specified formulas
- Cut or trim bricks and concrete blocks using hand tools or power saws
- Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and straightedges
- Apply finishing coats of mortar to walls or ceilings
- Restore and repair existing masonry structures
- Install firebricks or refractory tiles in high-temperature environments
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- Proficient in various masonry techniques including restoring, roofing, and building
- Familiarity with metal stud framing, plastering, and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of frame carpentry and hardscape construction techniques
Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and precision in masonry work
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
