Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results for management review.
- Oversee the preparation of year-end financials, corporate reporting requirements, and tax filings.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Create and monitor the company's budget, update as needed, and report any significant budget differences to management.
- Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure protection of assets and coordinate external audits.
- Ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic financial direction of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and experience with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
