AOPC/Finance – which is comprised of a staff of 17 employees, provides critical management of budget, accounting, and payroll systems for the entire Unified Judicial System (UJS). The finance team serves as the primary resource for the organization on financial matters and manages a budget of approximately $500 million. The team also manages and responds to public requests for financial information, including managing information made available on the judiciary's website. Finally, the finance team develops and recommends policies and procedures on accounting, budget, and procurement issues and trains staff at all levels in their use. The AOPC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated budget analyst to join our organization. This professional position is responsible for the ongoing budgeting and financial management requirements of the UJS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing budget projections, developing information relative to financial requirements, preparing annual funding requests and budgets, monitoring spending, and overseeing the planning and use of financial resources. The selected candidate will work independently under the direction of the Budget Administrator.
