The Director of Budget and Accounting is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and reviewing general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and related accounting activity functions; developing and controlling the District budgets; performing professional accounting work; and assisting principals and department heads in budgeting and other technical finance work. The Director oversees the Business Department under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services and is responsible for reports and presentations to the Board of Trustees throughout the year.

Experience Required: Three years of experience in school accounting, auditing, budget or finance work, including some lead responsibilities.

Education Required: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance or a related field. CPA preferred, but not required.

The successful candidate will be required to complete FBI/DOJ clearance and pre-employment online training.

Pay: $155,424.00 - $188,919.00 per year
