Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting. Typically reports to a director. The Budget Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Ensures contract compliance of contracted services including: Copy services, Courier Services, Managed Print services, Hospitality, Imaging and Mail services. Responsible for selecting and assessing talent, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee retention, staff training & development, succession planning, and conducts performance management that includes employee counseling.
