Overview:Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Operations Manager, assists branch staff with loan file set-up.
Responsibilities:- Assembles and logs file documents submitted by loan originators and distributes to processing staff.
- Assists loan originators and processors by ordering property related items as needed. (i.e., appraisals, title, insurance, etc.)
- Assists processors in obtaining VOE, VOR, and other documents as needed.
- Reviews file documents to verify appropriate documents and disclosures are included.
- Uploads documents and information into appropriate software programs.
- Reviews and prepares invoices for payment and tracks to verify payments have been made.
- May assist with receptionist duties and cover telephones for processors when necessary.
- Assists with managing office supplies and office equipment.
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Other functions as needed.
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year processing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel, as well as title companies, appraisers, etc.
- Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
- Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours; arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods.
- Must be able to work overtime, as required.
