Buffing and Polishing Set-Up Operator jobs in South Dakota

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with the ability to set up, align and secure work holding, cutting tools and other attachments.
• Inspect work, making necessary adjustments to meet required tolerances.
• Work with machine operators, assemblers and engineers to produce good parts.
• The work will mainly be on vertical milling machines with some lathe work possible.
• Most parts are simple, but some do have tight tolerance requirements.
• Operate and do setups on robotic welder.

Desired Qualifications

• Machining experience or training.
• The ability to read and interpret drawings to make accurate parts.
• Some experience inspecting parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Good attendance and punctuality with willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as with a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
