Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Our company is looking for reliable hard workers for the upcoming season that like working outdoors & have experience with moving snow. We are hiring payloader, bobcat & plow truck operators. As well as side walk crew members who can run smaller tractors, snowblowers and shovel.
We have commerical & residential properties
-The season runs Nov.-April with the hours varying as we go out every time that it snows
-Position is part time, but could turn into full time for the right individual
-Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
-Pay is competitive & depeneds on experience
-Must have a valid driver license, good driving record & own transportation to our shop
* Mechanically inclined & having a CDL license is a plus
