BUILDING INSPECTOR inspects initial construction and additional repairs to ensure adherence to contract specifications, building ordinances, and zoning laws. May be assigned to residential or commercial structures. Being a BUILDING INSPECTOR may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The BUILDING INSPECTOR works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a BUILDING INSPECTOR typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. - Must be willing to follow direction and perform tasks in a timely manner
- Must have open availability including willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
