We are currently seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Building Maintenance Technician III, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair various systems, equipment, and machinery. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities/building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building components.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of critical systems.
- Complete work orders in a timely fashion for the property management company.
- Provide a professional, courteous manner with all residents, tenants, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors for special projects.
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain organized records.
- Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities/building maintenance.
- Special boilers license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Background of work on multi-family buildings as well as commercial office buildings.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability for on-call duties as needed.
