Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to their designated locations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarking
- Educate passengers on safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bus or van interior
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Write incident reports as necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and other team members
- Manage passenger behavior and enforce rules and regulations when necessary

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers of all ages and backgrounds
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage passenger behavior in a calm and professional manner
- Familiarity with paratransit services and childcare transportation is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience as a bus driver or van driver is preferred
