Business Analytics Director manages and oversees business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Utilizes KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Being a Business Analytics Director consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines. Additionally, Business Analytics Director builds teams with statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support the business. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, statistics or a quantitative field. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Analytics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Analytics Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a hunting mentality to join us as a Director, Industrial Print Business Development!  This position utilizes outstanding interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational skills, and business acumen to manage bottom line profitability and sales of a high growth business.  They will directly manage both internal and external customer relationships to track and accurately forecast sales performance.

     

    The ideal candidate must live within the territory of Ohio.


    Responsibilities

    • Assist in identification, analyzing and definition of KM Production Ink Jet Program.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of execution plan for both KM Direct and Dealer Partner organizations, for KM production ink jet sales programs.
    • Assist in the development and deployment of webinars and communication presentations to both the Dealer partners and KM Direct organizations.
    • Assist in the creation and management of customer applications.
    • Assist in the creation and communication with KM Marketing Department of Best Practice Case studies.
    • Independently identify and develop compelling solutions to common and complex issues, by applying strong understanding of the converting, manufacturing and private industries.
    • Work closely with Corporate Marketing in developing and implementing educational seminars with dealer partners and direct.
    • Provide expertise and input into design process, application, file testing, preparation of materials, and proof of concept.

    Qualifications

    • 5 – 10 years of solid experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with a strong track record selling and managing Information Technology and Industrial or Production Print equipment, including ink jet products.
    • Associates Degree preferred but not required.
