Business Analytics Director manages and oversees business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Utilizes KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Being a Business Analytics Director consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines. Additionally, Business Analytics Director builds teams with statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support the business. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, statistics or a quantitative field. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Analytics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Position Summary:
The Director of the Business Office reports directly to the CFO/COO and is a member of the school’s Operations team. This person oversees all aspects of The Brook Hill School’s accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and general ledger, which includes providing support to other departments on campus as it pertains to those duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collections
Collect money from students.
Accounts Receivable
Enter payments and make deposits in a timely manner.
Accounts Payable
Pay and enter bills in a timely manner.
Budget
Prepare and update budget reports.
Audit
Prepare documents and assist auditors with annual audit.
