    Summary:

    We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to achieve our company's revenue and growth targets. You will play a key role in expanding our market reach, building strategic partnerships, and generating qualified leads for the sales team.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct market research to identify new target markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
    • Analyze competitor landscape and develop strategies to gain a competitive advantage.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan aligned with company goals.
    • Qualify and prospect for potential clients through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, online outreach).
    • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client companies.
    • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services.
    • Close business deals, ensuring adherence to company policies and terms.
    • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and access new customer segments.
    • Track and analyze sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Prepare reports on sales activities, market research findings, and competitor analysis.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (recruiting, marketing, account managers) to ensure a seamless customer experience.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or a related sales role.
    • Experience selling education services or products (preferred)
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business development goals.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to develop marketing content for sales purposes.
    • Ability to build strong relationships and develop trust with clients.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with Social Media and Marketing tools.
    • Knowledge of our industry (a plus).
