The Protection Product and Sales Process Lead is responsible for presenting protection product menus for themselves and their team members, and protecting profit on all deals for themselves and their team members. The Protection Product and Sales Process Lead is also encouraged to assist the Sales Manager with closing deals or selling units themselves when time permits to increase the size of business controlled by their team.
Duties include:
· Submitting finance applications for all customers of your team
· Securing financing for all customers of your team
· Completing paperwork in full for all customers of your team
· Sales of protection products such as priority maintenance, service contracts, GAP, theft, tire/wheel protection and more.
· Maintain expected profit per unit sold % benchmarks (match or beat industry)
· Responsible for following up on and collecting receivables.
· Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state-specific DMV, and lender requirements.
· Verify the accuracy of all titles, lien information, taxes, and other documents on customer paperwork.
· Ensure the accuracy of customer information in dealership databases (including email addresses)
· Forward completed deals to the office in a timely manner.
· Follow-up with customers as a courtesy reminder for purchased products requiring customer action.
· Prepare monthly reports on finance penetration and products sold.
· Keep sales management up to date regarding rates and products.
· Remain enthusiastic about customer retention and CSI in Sales
· Work with Sales Manager and each salesperson on their team to understand, meet, and exceed all daily, weekly, and monthly quotas and goals. (CRM, Sales)
· Assist Sales Manager with meeting every customer working with team members and utilize closing skills to overcome objections and close with urgency early and often. Using the 4 square and closing deals for the salespeople on your team and yourself when needed.
