  • The Quatela Center is excited to offer a unique opportunity for college or graduate school students interested in gaining hands-on experience in data analysis within the healthcare industry. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Per Diem (15-20 hours a week) Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our practice's success through data-driven insights and analysis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), practice management systems, and financial databases.
    • Support the application of statistical techniques and data modeling to extract valuable insights and identify trends related to patient demographics, treatment outcomes, and practice performance.
    • Collaborate with team members to develop reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress towards goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Participate in ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested, providing valuable support in areas such as forecasting patient volumes, assessing marketing effectiveness, and optimizing revenue cycle management processes.
    • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance data quality, accuracy, and security, staying informed about industry trends and best practices in healthcare data analytics.

    Requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in a college (3rd or 4th year student) or graduate program, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    • Strong interest in data analysis and its applications in healthcare, with a desire to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.
    • Basic proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS (prior coursework or self-study experience is acceptable).
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance academic commitments with part-time work responsibilities.
    • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive mindset, with a willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our practice.
