    This position is remotely, or hybrid based out of our Lake Worth, FL; Waltham, MA; or Chicago, IL offices with ability to work EST business hours. Anticipated travel up to 25-30% of the time dependent on need. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

    As a Sr M&A Business Development Associate with our high growth, tech orientated company, you will make an exciting impact on the critical aspect of our already successful growth strategy, whereby M&A has played a critical role.  You come with an entrepreneurial mindset in this role to actively engage with our management team on sourcing deals, facilitating discussions through proactively making cold calls, independently build key relationships and manage acquisition targets for our M&A Team.

    Your impact:

    • Manage and grow our M&A prospects by identifying companies that meet our acquisition criteria
    • Nurture acquisition prospects by proactively initiating, building and maintaining relationships
    • Conduct market research to evaluate potential acquisition prospects and obtain high-level financial and operational information about target companies
    • Initiate outbound prospecting calls and emails to connect with target companies
    • Develop and build relationships with industry leaders
    • Follow-up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner

    About you:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience is required
    • 5-7 years of high-volume M&A experience
    • Ability to initiate a high volume of calls/conversations per day with the ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
    • High ability to work independently and professionally to connect the dots when speaking to prospects and business leaders.
    • Positive, driven personality with high ability to communicate in a professional, confident, and convincing manner.
    • Preferred: Experience in corporate development/strategy/M&A, sales, software/technology.
