Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to be responsible for analyzing, solutioning, documenting and validating the complex business needs of systems owners and project stakeholders. This includes working independently gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This position will focus primarily on supporting our Ecommerce systems. The BSA will collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements. They will support deployment of innovative solutions and help solve technical problems in the areas they support. We are looking for an individual who is exceptional at stakeholder management, documentation & problem solving. We value exceptional attitudes and someone with the ability to come up to speed quickly.
The position requires three critical abilities:
"Business Analysis skills including complex requirements analysis, functional design, data analysis and software implementation skills, including the ability to understand relationships between multiple systems and document them in an understandable and concise way.
"Strong technical skills, including the ability to understand database structures and data queries to create data mappings for system interfaces, ad hoc reports.
"Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills required, including the ability to effectively interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
"Collaborate with Project Strategists and Project Drivers, Enterprise Architecture and Application Development teams and key user Subject Matter Experts to analyze tradeoffs between requirements, user experience and performance needs. Assure that IT is strategically aligned with the business.
"Become a Subject Matter Expert in areas that this position supports.
"Monitor the status of projects, assure that business objectives are met; set priorities and ensure standards are maintained for successful implementation and support of systems.
"Articulate functionality of systems to business and IT teams at various levels.
"Translate business needs into clear requirements that will enable the design of flexible solutions to enable business strategies and align with IT architecture direction.
"Create and maintain requirements traceability.
"Develop use cases, business flows or functional specifications from requirements & functionality requests.
"Analyze business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies and/or required functional enhancements, and document business processes and procedures.
"Assist Change Leaders with development of training materials to train key users on system functionality.
"Create end user training/reference documents when needed.
"Process mapping
"Debug data issues between systems.
"Problem solves application issues and facilitates user acceptance testing.
"Work closely with Quality Assurance to develop testing plans and use cases.
"Provide inputs to testing plans for product and user acceptance test phases.
"Validate data and application results that use data from mapped requirements.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Computer Science, Math or related technical or analytical field from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

"Experience with order management systems, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Azure DevOps
"Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
"Prior experience as a Programmer/Analyst or Data analyst helpful

"Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
