Business Development Director directs the execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Director develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations. Additionally, Business Development Director collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Business Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. What You'll Contribute The Manager, Business Analysis will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts, driving data-driven insights, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze complex data sets, and provide valuable recommendations to optimize business operations and drive growth. What You'll Do Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their professional growth and development. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for analysis and improvement. Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns. Develop and present actionable recommendations and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Ensure the adherence to business analysis methodologies, best practices, and standards across projects. Provide subject matter expertise in business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis. Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities for growth. What you have Minimum education, skills and experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop data-driven strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects. Experience in market and industry research. Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization. Experience with data management and data governance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Preferred education, skills, and experience. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or related field. 5 years of experience in business analysis or related field.
