Golden Care, San Diego’s trusted choice for in-home care services, is seeking a high-energy, optimistic Business Development Liaison to join our team. As a Business Development Liaison, your primary responsibility will be to grow our business by sharing the valuable services Golden Care offers with the community.
About the Role: This position is dynamic, with 50% of your time spent in the field developing new business opportunities and the other 50% managing and leading our Marketing department to drive growth and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Growth: Sign up a minimum of 400 new client hours each month.
- Networking: Attend senior-focused networking meetings to build relationships and increase referrals.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities for growth by promoting Golden Care and developing referral sources.
- Marketing Leadership: Manage the Marketing department to ensure effective strategy execution and brand development.
- Value Demonstration: Educate referral sources and consumers on the unique value Golden Care provides.
- Marketing Materials: Ensure that lead sources have access to necessary Golden Care marketing materials.
- Documentation: Record networking and outreach activities in the Golden Care Management System and maintain current contact information for lead sources.
- Sales Process: Daily documentation of sales activities, including Purpose, Outcome, and Follow-up.
- Client Intakes: Handle client referral intakes via phone, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Cross-Training: Basic cross-training in other roles to assist as needed.
- On-Call Duties: Be on call once a month.
Qualifications:
- Legal Requirements: Complete the “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A).
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in the field. Minimum of 2 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
- Professional Skills: Ability to effectively interface with professionals across various industries (finance, legal, healthcare, etc.).
- Local Travel: Ability to travel locally to meet with professional referral sources.
- Tech Skills: Basic computer knowledge, data entry, and word processing.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with effective time management skills.
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage a team and drive marketing initiatives.
Note: This is not a remote position. Applicants must reside in San Diego.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
