May manage activities through subordinate supervisors. Being a Business Development Manager - Biotech requires an MBA and at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Business Development Manager - Biotech relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.     • B.S. in a technical field preferred with the ability understand basic to complex development projects.
    • Project Management experience, strategic planning, proposal writing and estimating capabilities.
    • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate project details at all levels of a program.
    • Proven capabilities in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. A passion to positively impact company sales and profitability is required.
    • Product Development experience, including familiarity with manufacturing and prototyping process.
    • Individuals with a background in business development in a consulting environment will be given a higher level of consideration.
    • Our ideal candidate will also possess:
    • A high level of personal drive and self motivation with an eye for details with a focus on customer service.
    • Time and self management skills.
    • Meet or exceed established goals for sales and new business development on a consistent basis.
    • Ability to bring existing network of contacts and to build upon our extensive internal database for the purposes of new business development.

    This will be a salary plus commission, full time position with benefits package including life insurance for employees, long and short-term disability insurance, vacation and holiday pay, flex time and SIMPLE retirement plan with company match.
