Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee our nursery operations. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the nursery, including plant growth, propagation, irrigation, enviornmentals, and maintenance. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of horticulture. Nursery and Cultivation experience preferred. Must have an understanding of how and when to take cuts in order to keep a tight production schedule.
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including plant care, irrigation, and maintenance - Manage a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed - Monitor plant growth and health, ensuring proper fertilization and pest control measures are implemented - Coordinate with GM to ensure an adequate supply of plants and materials - Maintain inventory records - Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment - Conduct data collection and analysis to improve nursery operations
