Business Development Manager - Biotech supports management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as in/out licensing, collaborative research and development agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. May manage activities through subordinate supervisors. Being a Business Development Manager - Biotech requires an MBA and at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Business Development Manager - Biotech relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.     BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

    As a Business Development Manager you'll be a part of a winning team and high performing service organization that our clients have grown to rely on. By using a consultative approach, you'll help them identify how our bundled solution of HR products and services empower their business to thrive. We're looking for candidates that are excellent at self-generating leads, building relationships, and demonstrating the value that our partnership brings to Hawaii's employers.

    • Generate a list of prospects and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close.
    • Conduct meetings and info gathering to identify, develop, and propose a solution that best meets the needs of your prospects.
    • Establish internal relationships with various teams and functions across our organization to ensure prospect expectations are exceeded and leverage subject matter expertise. Work closely with our Marking, Sales Operations, Pricing, and Implementation teams teams to ensure effective and timely closing.
    • Leverage SalesForce to log, update, and manage all sales-related activities.
    • Successfully build and add to a healthy pipeline of opportunities by understanding the local market, and how to best position ProService Hawaii as a partner of choice.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

    • Proven Track Record of Success:
      • 3 years of B2B sales experience is required.
      • Experience canvassing and cold calling local businesses across multiple industries with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding set quotas/goals.
      • Prior PEO or service based sales experience a plus.
    • Tenacity and Resilience. Possess a strong passion to achieve results and the need to win.
    • Strategic Thinking. Ability to manage complex sales and develop strategic plans. Effective negotiation skills.
    • Verbal & written communication skills. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills to sell at all decision making levels. (C-suite, small business owners, etc.) Effective negotiation skills proven to close new business.
    • Analysis Skills. Abilility to identify problems and opportunities by taking initiative to actively problem solve, that results in win-win solutions.
    • Team Player Mentality. Willingness to collaborate and contribute to our norm of "winning as a team".
    • Motivation. Self motivated, creative, and adaptable to perform well under pressure.
