    We have an immediate opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Development Manager, with a technical background.  This individual will play a key role in the future growth of the company, developing market-winning strategies to meet and exceed segment goals. proactively and strategically focus on targeted market segments, gather data as needed, analyze, and produce a “Go-To-Market Plan in underserved segments, complete with product recommendations, competitive features and benefits of competitive equipment and produce a market winning strategy along with a representative value-added package.  Finally, this person will execute to the plan and grow Reel power share in the market based on the inputs and recommendations made in the overall “Go-To- Market-Plan”.


    Responsibilities: 

    • Responsible for sales development & sales in key market segments
    • Travel over 65%, as needed to grow the business, USA & some overseas as required.
    • Must be assertive, work alone or with others, manage time and projects to order & completing.
    • Individual will be” focusing on large turn-key projects as well as individual piece applications”.
    • Responsible for capital equipment sales of machinery, specifically winding technology.
    • Responsible for costing projects
    • Learn to navigate our MRP system, and any system needed to acquire needed information.
    • Perform marketing analysis and offer design inputs.
    • Communicate with Engineering on technical requirements & spec sheets from customer.
    • Proposal presentations /PowerPoint - to new customers with high level of attention to technical detail.
    • Provide expert customer consulting on products and services and recommend development program strategy because of frequent customer contact.
    • Attend trade shows, conferences and marketing events plus make presentations to industry groups.
    • Provide input to R&D regarding technical market developments, needs and trends.
    • Maintain a professional and clean office work environment, dress for success.
    • Manage multiple opportunities at once, prioritize, close.
    • Utilize peer knowledge and input as needed, be assertive and hunt down answers to keep the project moving forward.
    • Offices at plant in Oklahoma City, OK
    Qualifications:
    • B.S. / B.A., preferably in technical degree, or 5 plus years in technical sales
    • Must have 5 years of experience in technical sales.
    • Individual must be able and willing to travel as needed to interact with other team members while traveling to analyze and formulate the strategies needed to win the day.  Individual must also be capable of interacting with prospects and customers to develop the necessary strategies to win the opportunity and grow overall market share and profitability.
    • Proven successful track record in business development and technical sales.
    • High energy level, attention to detail, enthusiasm, aggressive and excellent communication skills.
    • Individual should be a master of the consultative sales approach.
    • Candidate will be persuasive, confident, assertive, adaptable, expert negotiator, excellent verbal and written skills, and be goal driven.
