Business Development Manager, Sr. manages the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Coaches teams in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Manager, Sr. establishes team targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives. Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Additionally, Business Development Manager, Sr. makes suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts. May administer or negotiate new business proposals and prepare contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Development Manager, Sr. typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Development Manager, Sr. typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     A Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager:
    • Travel to businesses within North Carolina to maintain existing business and develop new relationships through ongoing communications
    • Organize routes, document, and manage personal sales processes to identify obstacles and track success
    • Use HubSpot CRM to enter customer information and send emails, text messages and/or make phone calls
    • Prospect for new customers to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities that lead to sales growth
    • Continue to build and maintain relationships with accounts/customers to understand the needs of the customer through research and initiative
    Additional Activities Include:
    • Schedule in-person sales visits, presentations, meetings, and outings
    • Present our services to local business owners, contractors, and insurance adjusters
    • Proficient in using social media in selling process (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram)
    • Attain membership in local and national professional associations
    • Work from home or office one day per week calling customers and setting up visits, presentations and corresponding with businesses, make phone calls, send email and text correspondence, look for new business prospects, etc.
    What We are Looking for in You:
    • Experience in insurance claims or the restoration industry a plus
    • Solid presentation skills and comfortable speaking in front of an audience
    • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task as needed
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment
    Salary:
    • $45k Base w/ Bonus Opportunities
