Responsible for initial relationship and follow-up with prospects. Develops and executes marketing and sales strategies according to business objectives. Additionally, Business Development Officer (Select Customer),Sr. prepares and presents sales results to top management. Retains and expands existing customer relationships and acquires new customers.     POSITION OVERVIEW

    This position is responsible for promoting, marketing, originating and initiating SBA and commercial loans.

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for marketing bank’s services and products to the community
    • Responsible for initiating new loans
    • Responsible for maintenance of relationships with existing customers and brokers
    • Analyzes new loan requests
    • Assists in resolving problem loans
    • Responsible for planning and evaluating marketing strategy
    • Reviews proposals and cost estimates
    • Negotiates proposal timelines and loan terms
    • Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.).  Must complete all required training

     

     

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

    • Highly motivated, self-directed who thrives on exceeding sales goals
    • Working knowledge of SBA 
    • Ability to deal effectively with all customers
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and sales skills

     

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year University
    • Minimum of 2 year experience in SBA lending
