Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Business Development Coordinator
Accountabilities
Creates pathway recommendations for the long-term strategic direction of Ethos for steady growth and market development
Within the Leadership team, brings new products and services for consideration and implements decisions made with regard to those products and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and businesses to position Ethos as the go-to-resource for solar and electrification
Support Sales team with resources and tools to successfully close deals and meet sales goals
Identify viable project on commercial, residential, municipal, tribal and small utility scale projects
As determined, assist with potential loan products to offer customers
Generally responsible for anything that the leadership team tasks this position with, within their capabilities.
Work with the Marketing Lead to administer the marketing budget.
Required Skills
