The Business Manager – OR provides administrative/clerical support and coordination of the OR Department. This position requires working closely with all staff including physicians. Monitors charges and expenses, maintains database, tracks clinical income by staff and assists with budget providing information to the Nurse Manager.
The Business Manager duties will include but not limited to:• Payroll • HIC OBS Reconciliation• Issue Track• Charge Reconciliations of the unit• Connect Calls• Work orders• QML ( Daily data entry for glucometers)• Schedule interviews for Nursing Departments• Request Jobs• Order Supplies for nursing units• DOR• Annual Budget• Patient satisfaction• Work Orders for Maintenance Request• Scheduling• Radiology Variances reports• Auditing reports- Vary throughout the year• Data collecting and dashboard preparation the ED.• Other duties as assigned
Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years related experience in a clinical setting preferred. Also, Accounting and Financial background required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, report and manage patient care information typically obtained through previous experience. Demonstrated written, verbal communication and presentation skills required. Must be proficient in clerical skills, Windows, Word, Excel, Access and other computer skills.
