Paid Internship Opportunity: General Business Intern at Heritage Home Health & Hospice

Position: Business Intern

Department: Finance

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Duration: 1 year minimum, 20 Hours/week

Responsibilities: As a Business Intern with Heritage Home Health & Hospice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to informed financial decision-making.
• Assisting with accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
• Utilizing QuickBooks software to process financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Participating in financial analysis projects to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Assisting with HR-related tasks within the Finance department such as helping with payroll.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student at the College of Business at Idaho State University.
• Hard worker with strong desire to learn
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $16/hour*
